Change,Change, Change!

I believe that life is all about change.  My friend has a little statement that I think of often "everything changes, nothing stays the same", sound familiar?
The past six and half years have been a great experience and lots of fun memories.  I am thankful to have added our tea room to my list of blessings.
Now that we have made some changes by closing our tea room, I am not sure what lies ahead for Camellia Rose. 
We still have our boutique in operation, selling our fine loose leaf teas, fine gifts, stylish apparel, jewelry, and of course my mom still mades her fabulous scones for our customers.

New Change

After much prayer and contemplation we have made a decision it is time to make some changes in our life and that will involve closing our tearoom sometime in August, final date to be determined.  Our boutique will remain open indefinitely.  In the meantime we look forward to celebrating teatime and shopping with you!  We have had so much fun and have been very blessed by your friendship over the past seven years. We love the month of April as we celebrate April in Paris;)
Join us as we celebrate the romantic charms of Paris during your teatime
as you listen to our Parisian music while dining. We will feature some of our
favorite Parisian savories and of course lots of April in Paris Tea!

Moms are always on the top of our list and especially during the month of May. What better way to honor
our mom than to spend special time with her celebrating
the love you have for her. You will create wonderful
lifelong memories during your teatime together.


Christian Widows Friendship Social Teatime
We also invite widows of all ages to a monthly
teatime social group scheduled the third Thursday
 of every month. Just give us a ring for details.



We also want you to know that all teatimes are limited to 1 1/2 hours.

The Power of Pink

I was kindly reminded last week by one of our loyal guests, that I have not been posting all the fun exciting news we have here at Camellia Rose.  So thank you for your interest in Camellia Rose.  Never thought I would see the day when someone wanted to hear what I had to say!  I spend so much time interacting with Camellia Rose fans on Facebook, I did not realize there is a world out there who still keep up with blogs.  So my sincere apologies;) 
With that being said, I will let you know we are celebrating fall in Florida at Camellia Rose!  A few of the Fall favorites on our menu include mom's delcious pumpkin scones, pumpkin soup, and our Harvest Moon Tea Blend.  Even though the temperature outside is not very cool, it feels like fall at Camellia Rose! And of course we are honoring all the ladies and men out there winning the battle over breast cancer.  We created our "Tinkled Pink" tea blend just for them.  So stop in a try a sip just for yourself.  You can't miss our store, we have wrapped the street sign with pink and have filled our boutique window with everything pink.  We are trying to paint the town pink!

My Highlights from the World Tea Expo

I just returned from the World Tea Expo which I have attended for the sixth consecutive year.
This convention is open to members of the tea trade around the world.
Every year I gain knowledge and of the most current tea trends,
attend educational seminars from the industry's leading tea educators,
and meet other tea professionals from around the world.
I had the privilege of tasting rare teas from Hawaii and Viet Nam
with my favorite tea lady, Jane Pettiqrew.
I am so looking forward to sharing my highlights with my tea time guests
and waiting to receive the wonderful teas and accoutrements
that I ordered and will be available for purchase.
